Welcome to Humanitarian Clowns Victoria—

Humanitarian Clowns Victoria is the state chapter of a national charity dedicated to spreading kindness, connection, and practical support where it’s needed most. We believe that small acts of compassion — delivered with dignity and joy — can create big change in our communities.

What We Do

Our volunteers run humanitarian projects across Victoria, helping people facing hardship. Whether it’s rescuing and redistributing surplus food, providing essentials to those in crisis, or bringing a smile to someone’s day, our mission is simple: to make sure no one is left behind. We partner with community groups, local businesses, and service providers to deliver resources and programs that meet real needs. Every project we run combines practical help with the uplifting spirit of the clown — a reminder that even in hard times, there’s room for connection, laughter, and hope.

Why Humanitarian Clowns?

We’re not your average charity.Humanitarian Clowns combine the heart of humanitarian service with the spirit of the clown — a symbol of warmth, openness, and human connection. We believe that support should be delivered with dignity, empathy, and even a touch of joy.Our approach is simple: meet people where they are, see them as individuals, and make every interaction one that uplifts as well as supports. The “clown” in our name isn’t about costumes or tricks — it’s about showing up without judgment, breaking down barriers, and creating moments of light in the middle of life’s challenges.Because when people feel seen, respected, and valued, real change can happen.

Acknowledgement of Country

Humanitarian Clowns Victoria respectfully acknowledge the traditional owners of the lands we live, learn, work and play and pay our deepest respects to Elders past and present and emerging. We recognise First Nations people as the traditional custodians and guardians of the lands, seas and skies, and its rich heritage and deep roots from which we can all learn. Sovereignty was never ceded; this always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
